Preferential booking rates for ABA members

  • All members of Australian State and Territory Bar Associations are members of the ABA and can claim the ABA member rate.

Reduced rate for New Barristers

  • A heavily reduced rate is available for New Barristers – strictly for barristers who signed the Bar Roll on or after 1 July 2020.

Conference registration includes:

  • Access to the entire conference program on Friday, 29 August 2025.
  • Lunch and coffee breaks throughout the day.

If you purchase either an Early Bird or Standard ticket you will be entitled to a place in person at Crossroads 2025 (the Event). The ABA reserves the right to suspend sale of in-person registrations to meet venue capacity. 

In the event that the ABA determines that it is unable to deliver the event for any reason, the ABA may, at its sole discretion, decide to re-schedule or cancel the Event. In the event of rescheduling or cancellation, the ABA will, within 60 days, refund to you the registration fee paid less any fees, surcharges and administrative expenses.

All registration prices include GST.

Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your registration prior to 4 July 2025 you will receive a full refund less credit card fees. Cancellations received after 4 July 2025 will receive a refund less $300 cancellation fee and any credit card fees paid. Cancellations received after 1 August 2025 will not be eligible for a refund, however name changes will be accepted.

Code of Conduct

In purchasing a conference registration you agree to follow all requirements in relation to the health and safety of attendees stipulated by the ABA. At all ABA conferences and events there is a zero tolerance of all forms of harassment, discrimination and victimisation. The ABA also takes seriously its obligation to protect those who make complaints. If anyone during the proceedings has any concerns, they can raise them on a confidential basis with the President, the CEO or the Chair of Conferences.

Postponement 

In the event that the ABA determines that it is unable to deliver the event for any reason, the ABA may, at its sole discretion, decide to reschedule or cancel the Event. In the event of rescheduling, the ABA will, within 60 days, offer to refund or roll over your registration charge, less any fees, surcharges and administrative expenses. In the event of cancellation, the ABA will refund your registration charge, less any fees, surcharges and administration expenses, within 60 days.

Photography/videography

There will be photographs/videos taken throughout the conference and at the social event. These may be used for promotional activities, including the ABA website and on social media. If you do not want your photograph taken, or used, please notify the photographer onsite at your earliest convenience.
